I have been looking to put a low profile servo in my YZ2 has anyone fitted one that has not failed or striped its gears
Thanks

Using the plastic horn should save the gears on a low profile, ie. the plastic horn splines should strip first.
Personally I'd rather run a full sized servo.
XpertRC servos are great.

I have ran an xpert LP servo in my Yok, with no problems.
Like Neal said, I ran mine with a plastic horn.

Futaba BL551 is a great servo. Use these in my 2wd's and never had an issue.
+1 on the Futaba servos. My son and me ve been running a S9571 and a KO Propo one10 response with alumimum horns in our Firebolts and they have taken quite some abuse without any damage. We moved them to our TCs meanwhile. I guess you'll be better off with a full-size servo in the long term, unless you want to reduce weight on the front end on a low-grip track.
Hi
Thanks, I think the full size is the best option after all.
