Its taken me a little while but I have finaly finished building up an old Yokomo Dog Fighter. I wnted to build up a vintage racer that not only looked like the old Japanese 870c from back in 88 but I wanted the car to handle well and be reiable out on the race track. Not sure I have the 'ultimate' car or anything but I really enjoyed puting this thing together. Basicaly a 91 Dog fighter chassis fitted with an aftermarket 'Delrin' front bulk head, 870/YZ10 front and rear shock towers, AE teflon shocks front and rear aswell as some modern type electrics to keep the car well under control. Yet to see any dirt but Im sure that wont take me too long-:D

Bah! That reminds me of my worst car ever: The Kyosho Progress 4WDS... four wheel drive & four wheel steering... with countless flaws! Even bump steer on the rear wheels!

I remember even though I was only 14 at the time that I was VERY sceptical before buying it... and boy was that gut feeling right!

a mate had a Gallop Mk2 (similar car I think)... rear bones were flying at every bump

Very nice S Dogfighter!
