To all Mid-South drivers and Families
I wanted to up-date you all reference this year’s 2016 Regional Series.
- We have 4 clubs hosting events this season and have reverted to single 4WD/2WD classes per day- Herts Stotfold Surrey & Hants Torch
- all participating clubs have agreed to hold additional classes that support the usual meetings (non-scoring classes for regional grading, more details below) Dates and Venues as follows:
3rd April – Surrey & Hants4WD
24th April – Stotfold 2WD
8th May – Herts 4WD
22nd May – Torch 2WD
5th June – Stotfold 4WD
19th June – Herts 2WD
10th July - Surrey & Hants 2WD
28th August – Torch 4WD
4th September – Reserve date
Formats/details:
-4 rounds of qualifying, round by round 2 to count
- Single leg final for B final and above, same for Vintage and Short course/Truck, 3 legs for A Final
- Awards for 1st place winners trophies from b final and above, 1st – 3rd for A final (no trophies for additional classes)
- “2WD and 4WD” classes only to participate for regional F grading
- Additional class short course and vintage to only run on 4WD regional days only:
1. Vintage cars pre 2001 with any electrics to BRCA lists allowed. Re-productions cars allowed.
2. Short Course/Truck must come per production, e.g. not a 2wd/4wd car with big wheels.
3. Any racers are entitled to participate, regional racers or not.
4. These additional classes will not receive F grading/scoring but end of season overall winner for Vintage and S/C/T will be awarded.
- Additional “open” class will be provided for non-regional participating drivers only at each meeting
- With any additional classes there must be a minimum met to run the class on the day (6 is the minimum amount targeted)
- Costs £10 per entry per class, for entry’s pre booked in advance (more details to follow shortly)
- £15 pay on the day (open/additional classes the same)
- BRCA National Tyres Rules apply for regional scoring classes
- Each club will provide their own individual up-date via the usual methods, Facebook, Oople and Club Websites
