Could anyone who runs one of these shafts, and its associated triad slipper, tell me if the shaft is supported on 5mm bearings?

Yes Clive, the rb6 avid Topshaft uses the original bearing go which got 5mm internal dia (5x10x4)

It looks to me, from the photographs, that the shaft is reduced to the imperial size where the slipper sits. Perhaps it is 11/64" to suit the Associated shaft?
