Big thanks to Mike Hudson (MG Custom Parts) for putting our design on CAD :)

You'll notice in the piccy's that the prototype strap only has a mounting hole at the front; this is because of some miscommunications
The finished product will have one at each end :)

We're not taking any orders yet, but if you'd be interested drop me a pm.

thanks guys :)

They are made out of the highest quality 2mm cf and profesionaly milled and the perfect fit now for lipo stick packs.

The prototype was 8mm too long after abit of dimension confusion but is now finished and shortened to the correct size :)

The trackpower lipo in the picture is a 4900 which is 23mm high so if using lipos that have a lower height you may a need small bit of foam under the lipo battery on under the strap.

You will also there are two foams at the front of the lipo (Associated B4 battery foams) so you have 3 setup options of running you lipo to the rear, middle or front for where you want a little more weight to go.

Not ready for orders just yet though.
If you are interested and would like to be put on a reserve list then drop either Me or Andy a pm,
Watch this space...

Matt, could you not put the lipo the other way round, making the battery wires shorter? :p Looks good though! How much will it cost?

yeh but I don't think the top of the corally plugs would fit neatly under the body shell. not confirmed yet tom, not sure whether it will be forsale due to low numbers of people interested.

if you are worried about the corallys rubbing under the shell, there is no need. all you need to do is solder your wires across the top of the corallys then shrink rap over the solderd area. i did this to my xrs and i had no probs. ;)

hope the advice helps.

can't you see on the pics that i've already done this?? [without the heatshrink] ;)

thanks for the advice though! :D:thumbsup:

This is all really nice work but......

and im sorry to pee on peoples chips again,

I remember last year when people were saying "wait till Lipo is allowed the pred will be the car to beat" because of less weight up front.

But now saddles are not legal (yet) and possibly won't be due to dimensions you must be in a similar situation.

Will there be a re-think on the car ?

the team are trying both layouts at the moment lee with good results either way so we will be ready just incase saddle packs dont come through on the brca list, come over at worksop and i will show you what we have done m8
