Just treated myself to a spektrum dx3 system but i seem to have a problem with it :(
When i switch it on all seems ok for about 30 seconds then the light goes of on the reciver. If i turn thr tranny off and on it works again then stops.
I have tried reseting it again and again .
Anyone had this problem ? feel like sending it back and sticking with ko 40mhz.

What are you running it in and what electronics are you using?
Could be faulty though

Sounds like you speedo has a weak BEC, which cannot supply the volts to your receiver, i had this with the LRP QC2 as soon as i tried the steering the light would go out on the receiver, simple to fix just get the SPM1600 Spektrum receiver voltage protector, since i fitted that i did a whole meeting with no problems.
But if you can let us know what gear you run, just in case its something else.

I have run the exact same speedo with Spektrum in my S4 without any problems at all, so it maybe a faulty unit?.

yes a stutter stopper might work but it does sound an odd problem, almost as if the voltage regulator isnt holding up...does it go off even when not touching the controls?
a stutter stopper may work...i make them too,and on a Y splitter lead if your interested,so you wont lose any reciever slots.

Problem found to be a faulty reciver as suspected i tried it with in my nitro car with a 5 cell pack powering it and the same problem happened. If i tap the reciver i can make the problem come and go.
Will take it back to get it swapped:)
