The wheel has been modified (fronts) and made of a different material and are now stronger.
Fitting jft may make tour car too wide.

But isn't that just a different foam compound? Martin (and others) have found the rear wheels to crack and break up.

Bottom of the page...

"All tyres from stock, both new 'A' foam and 'Q' foam are now on an updated strengthened wheel."

Why would I put new rear wheels? If there not!

All info is in the link

Mark, you said the fronts were changed to a stronger material, not the rears. Thanks for clearing this up though as we now know that both front and rear wheels are now stronger.

Badger

where does this (my second post say front??

new rears released today http://www.racing-cars.com/products.asp?hideall=Y&partno=news809&templateid=18&pagewidth=550 (http://www.racing-cars.com/products.asp?hideall=Y&partno=news809&templateid=18&pagewidth=550)

my first post states fronts as at that time I was not allowed to say the rears were being reworked too.
the link clearly shows new foams and also states new rear wheels!

i wish they did rubber tyres for gt12 as my son is only 12 and due to crashes goes through foams like mad and once they are chunked their useless and he wouldnt get any better with chunked ones on so i have to stick a new set on again, i wish they did rubber so he could keep practicing with no fear of me having to spend money on 2 pairs every race meet and when he gets good at racing with rubber i could switch him over to foam,
its a good earner for schumacher but hurts my pockets.
