Hello, just been to visit my uncle's model shop and saw this for £199.99 with radio gear and everything! Experience tells me this should be crap but is it??
Looks very good value compared to electric buggy's!
Comes from Ripmax.

X-Terminator 2 Buggy 1:8 4WD RTR C-XTM-XT2 SSP £199.99

When is a buggy a super buggy?

When you cram as many features into it as we have with the XT-2 is when! 'Feature-packed' is an often used term, but it certainly applies to this 1:8 4WD off-roader.

The XT-2 has been designed to be the toughest in its class and the fastest too courtesy of its included XTM 24.7, 2.6Hp pullstart engine (ballraced) with twin-needle slide carburettor. All components are mounted as low as possible on the 3mm thick countersunk chassis with an offset drive train for superior side to side balance. Virtually every screw is a cap head type, so you're sure of positive fixing on all joints.

Supplied from the factory pre-built with included radio control and high torque steering servo. Even the radically styled body is pre-cut and painted in a multi-colour flame effect scheme that's sure to impress! The XTM Racing is waiting for you!

Tyres: 156mm

Don't know, it comes with full radio gear, metal geared servo's and looks fairly strong. In fact I notice the Dave G has just sold a 1/8th car on this site which looks very similar to the above car.(might of been the other forum, sorry Jimmy)

all for £199.99 fully running seems cheap to me, but how long will it last/wear out and can I get spares??

Fancy being pit man Stu???;)

the xtm is a solid car for the money damo,i had one for a few months and it was faultless.

the only let down is that it comes with a 24.7 engine rather than a normal 21 engine, which isnt really a problem for playing or local club racing, some clubs may frown if you start doing well with it,its a good car for the money,however...otley are doing the hyper 7 tq sport for £220,which comes with a 21 engine.
