Current tyre regs for 2016

Hi guys. I may be attending the regional next week on the Vintage heat, what are the tyre regs at the moment? I see you had some restrictions in the past, with no minipins. Can someone let me know asap please?

Hi Stuey

Driven wheels must be either Schumacher mini spikes or Ballistic buggy mini spikes.

Front wheels can be anything

Are we sure that applies to the vintage class too? I would guess some of the older vintages may struggle to mount a modern 2.2" tire

That's a fair point Darren - it seems that in the 20 year hiatus I had things changed. I mean, where did lipos come from ?!?

I guess that if the car won't accept a 2.2" modern / current tyre as described then whatever fits. However if the wheels will accept a 2.2" tyre then it must be as described above
