I ran one for a full season last year and can't remember breaking one :eh?:

I'm not the best driver and do have the odd crash now and then, my advise is to not crash :p

Maybe your track is not as forgiving ? Do other drivers at your track have the same issue with their cars ?

I have many broken in 2 weeks :).
The track is pretty fast but technis.
I am alone with the ZX6 self throughout Belgium :).
I'm a pretty rider, not the best but plenty À final :).

And the other people driving with xray, Yokomo, Schumacher.
And they did not have much trouble with it.
I've ridden with xray last year and did nothing with it broken

On my old Zx6 it had dex410 arms fitted, needed a bit of dremel work and the 410 roll bar/links

Never broke an arm after this mod

Which model? The v3, v4 or v5 mss of the new? Durango

For the rest you can continue to use everything? Of the ZX6?
Or do I need anything Durango?

Original410/V3 ones as these are the strongest ones

Shock location and length is the same as the zx6

Have you tried putting the arms in boiling water? I was very doubtful that this would work but tried it on my sons B-max4 and he has done about 6 meetings now without breakage. Before this it was at least 1 per meeting

I was a complete novice and used to break them all the time, I persevered only breaking one occaisionally now and only after a severe crash. No modifications to the Kyosho arms to make them less 'fragile' worked for me but one thing was apparent, when they are very cold they break a lot easier so if you race in a cold environment I would suggest that you warm the plastic up a bit before each race (heat gun, hair dryer etc).

ZX6 arms are made from Kitkats painted black :lol: , at Maritime they break regularly on all different level of drivers cars, when its cold it is a lot worse.

I'm sure Kyosho are well aware as this subject comes up regularly on most forums.

I fitted the Durango arms on mine when I had the car and never broke another arm, also went through quite a few slipper shafts as the chassis has so much flex it would snap the shaft when flexing.

Apart from the above the ZX6 is a superb car and one of my favourites over the last few years.

They are also very expensive, approx £8 each. They don't come in pairs as you would expect but the pack contains one front and one rear arm so, unless you regularly break the rear arms you are paying approx £8 each time you break a front arm.

No not yet, how long should you cook them just put them in a pan on the cooker and simmer for around 30 minutes :thumbsup:
