I'm looking for photos of an assembled Tamiya 501x alloy rear upright with no success. I'm wondering if the Tamiya version of this uses plastic bushings where it connects to the suspension arm like the Yeah Racing version of this, or is it metal to metal? I have the Yeah Racing version already and wish to get rid of the mushy/sloppy fit of those plastic bushings, would the Tamiya version fit the bill?

'mushy sloppy fit' ??? what do you mean by this?
In the pics of the tamiya ones i've seen they have 2 blue alloy bushings and two silver alloy shims

I have a 17mm hex conversion on mine running 4" 1/8 scale belted slicks (speed car). The extra leverage and size of the wheels accentuates the non-precision fit. So the genuine Tamiya uprights use metal bushings to the suspension arm pin, eh? I might try them, thanks.
