hobbywing esc update

Hi all.

Went to update my hobbywing xr10 justock today but there is 2 options
V1_509 or v3 _508.

Which one is the latest or do they have different propertys/settings.

Do not use the 508, do not use it. It is not fully compatible, you will lose all brakes. Keep the 509.
I changed night before Bedworth clubmans and I lost two rounds of qualifying due that mistake.
Also, please check twice that when updating it does not change the running mode, mine changed it from forward / brake to forward / reverse. Imaging what happens in a formula 1.
