What about either of these:

Not plastic, but not glass, some type of wood fibre like board.

I've found the medium one a little tight for 1/10 scale.
If you have the room the large one would be the one to go for.

Any where that stock CML products (Team Associated etc.) should be able to get you one.

Not plastic ones I know but wood - my friend put me onto these and I've just collected two today (price on shelf said £21 but they came up as £4 each at the till !)

Hi, I can supply 10mm thick clear acrylic, much stronger than perspex and cut to the size you require,the average size 600mm x 450mm and these are £20 collected.
It's the postage that is high due to the weight and this normally works out at approx £15
