XXX BK2 + LIPO

I have a Losi XXX BK2, and I would like to run LiPo power.

Will a stick battery fit in the NiCd slot or do I have to modify the chassis to make it fit?

I have tried a saddle pack from my K1 aero in it, width and height are ok, but length wise, its just a little too long.

Any help/advice would be really appreciated.

usual option is to use a "shorty" lipo plus any weight (brass) to make up difference if required also a useful tuning option
