So im looking to get back into 2wd buggy racing but there is just so many options.

i dont want to spend a fortune just in case i dont get back into it haha so im looking for 2nd hand.

but i need advice what to pick -

Schumacher cougar SV
what i use to have and was such a nice car once setup
doesn't come with electrics but comes with a lot of spares (including a roller)
under £120

Durango DEX210 (V2)
setup as Mid Motor 4 gear
New TYRES
2 shells and 2 rear wings
Flysky gt3B transmitter and receiver
New springs
New leopard brushless 9T 4370kv motor and ESC
Savox 0252 servo
4200mAh, 40c 2s
under £100

Associated B5m
Standard with shell no electronics
under £90

2014 Xray Xb4
official XRAY 2wd conversion kit
Under £90

Associated B4 (pro version loads of upgrades)
uprated graphite chassis
upgraded alloy wishbones and few other alloy upgrades
10.5t brushless motor and esc & program card
2.4ghz controller
2 x 2s 5000mah & 5500mah
high spec lipo charger
under £130

latest Yokomo YZ2
battery and front weights
yatabe springs
no electronics
pro painted shell
fitted with older style wishbones and driveshafts
under £200

Im leaning towards the Durango dex210 or the Associated B4 PRO because they are complete ready to go but are they the right choice out of the above?

am i better going for the Schumacher Cougar and putting bit extra to it for some good electronics.

Hope someone can help :)

Cheers

Durango not the easiest to find parys for now once very popular now poorly supported

B4 older rear motor style excellent car but a bit dated in the new mid motor era

Xray xb2 if Its the 4wd less front shafts good but not that popular

Sv2 good all-round car but as as I have offered you my two for sale I can't comment unbiasedly:o

My choice yz2 or b5m

Mainly go to your local track see what is popular get advice from them

As above..! Definitely YZ2 or B5m.....B5m is best option..good car, lots for sale at moment because of new B6...reason it is half the price of the YZ2...

I'd also suggest looking at a KF2 - so many available cheaply now on here and eBay, I picked up a great KF2 for just under £110 in the last few weeks (no electrics though).

There may be a newer version on it's way which is making them cheaper but still a very capable car, I also run a YZ2 and would second the comments above - also a great car, hope that doesn't add to the confusion!!!

For around £100 secondhand.
B5M better in low grip
KF2 better in high grip

Go for the B5m its a good neutral buggy and goes well.
Yoko is great as well but more expensive.
KF2 is good but more delicate and imho harder to drive than the b5m or yoko.
The new B6 is the nuts - and a brand new one is £239 and fast out the box no mods needed.

Bangs for your bucks gotta be the B5m

the yoke will save you money in the long run the quality and durability is fantastic
and just shim the transmission up a mm and run the shocks on the rear for low grip

Can't disagree with any previous comments

1 how good do you think you are/want to be all above choices are sensible and all will perform adequately if you think your world champion material buy the latest trendsetter b6m because you will always think what if,?

2 as I mentioned before check out where you will race most often and see what is most popular the locals aren't usually wrong

About 6 weeks back i was in same position

B5m was my choice. Dont regret it for 1 second. Amazing value and its better than i am. Or probably ever will be lol.
