I've just bagged a set of new yz2 shocks but they came with no shafts, I've been looking around and there's a few to buy so which ones have people used or are they all just the same.

Thanks

I'd get the black coated ones.

Depends on surface you run on, but I've worn out the rear kits ones after some time running outside. The shaft wears after quite a bit of running in dirty/dusty environments and the shaft will feel draggy in the shock orings, even with new ones. The black coated ones last much longer. I've not personally worn them out.

Build new shafts with new o-rings.
I also use the Axon shock grease. its slippy like nothing else.
