they do some 12v 7ah ones,which are ideal for running starter boxes and power panels off.

glow starters are only 1.2v tho not 12v,unless you mean a 12v starter panel with glow support on it.

hi,

this is the glow starter i have,

http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/product_car.php?productId=0000001900

now being 12v could I just use my bike/car charger ?

i also have this charger;
http://www.elitemodelsonline.co.uk/Products/Accessories/Chargers/item23455?startPos=80
i use it for charging my rx 1400 packs, only takes about 20mins on a bike battery, or chould i use it on a ciggy socket.

you shouldnt use a car battery charger to power a 12v item,they are intended for charging only,not to act as a power supply as they will most likely be unregulated.

just get a 12v 7ah lead acid battery and a suitable charger(jp make one)

you need a 12v lead acid(pb) battery charger,a normal car battery charger will cook it.
