Hey

Ive been interested i RC Action photos for a long while now but i only own a cheap £40 cam and as you can imagine the quality of the pics aint great!

So im after a new cam ive been looking at the Fujifilm S5600 link - http://www.fujifilm.co.uk/digital/cameras/s5600/?lpage=/digital/cameras/range.php
And was just wondering if any one had any ideas if this would be any good for RC action shots?

thanks

Hi Kev.

I would either go for that, or if you can, try aiming for a Nkion D40 or Nikon D50.

They are beginners cameras, but advanced enough to take some real cool quality shots.:)

Yeah looks like a good camera. Certainly should be capable and has a much better shutter lag than the older versions (so it takes a photo when you press a button rather than a second later!)
The best thing about these cameras is the size and versatility, they do great video too if I'm not mistaken ?

yea I had the first of this type of camera from Fuji, it was a nice camera and the new ones are loads better.. the main problem was the shutter lag which made it quite hard to get an action photo.

Don't be disapointed if you try action shots on a dull winters day, they will most probably be a bit blurred. Wait for a sunny day when there is lots of light, you should get great results then.
Make sure you post some pics up when you have some good ones.
