What do folk use to prep wires etc for tinning?
At the moment I've been using some plumbing flux paste, but it's running out...
Interested to know what others use?

Honestly the acid in that is a bit too harsh, but fine for cleaning iron tips.

A decent rosin (leaded) core solder will clean and flow into any gauge of wire you would choose to use.

A flux pen for electronics, non-acid, such as Kester would be a good choice to touch on wires or contacts.
