The links for the above info on the petiterc page are dead.

Anyone know of other sources.

Hopefully have my fm 2wd on Friday and would like as much info and tips as possible.

Only thing I can think of to do with "steering mod" is to cut off the first hole on the steering post that the servo turnbuckle goes in to and move the servo as far forward as possible using the servo spacers

Ive fitted 2.5mm of servo spacers. The thread from the servo horn balljoint was rubbing on the left hand steering post. That trimmed back part is miles away from my servo??
Maybe the orion has different shape to it.

Is that steering part still strong even once cut back like that.

Have full steering left and right loads of ackerman.

Cars going together well. Very high quality fitment. The diff is simply stunning.

It will be fine trimmed back as the quality in plastic is top notch 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

All our cars shocks are built with the RDRP shocks seals. Kits ones are fine but the RDRP are better. They'll swell after around 2 weeks and require the spacer shaved down a little or use two collars back to back instead of the spacer. Shocks will be super smooth.
I also used the option 3 hole pistons drilled to 1.6 but depends on what setup you want.

Steering mod is done on all three of ours with savox servos and no issues.
