B6 vs YZ2

Does anyone have any experience of driving both? How do they compare to each other? Some people that I have spoken to who have had both say that the B6 is easier to drive. But I am struggling to see why. Any feedback is much appreciated.

I've gone from a YZ2 to now running a B6. I couldn't notice any difference between the two in driving characteristics. Having said that the B6 does feel more forgiving. I'm no front runner though.

I've had the YZ-2 and XB2 16/17. After owning a B5M and hating it, I swore I'd never go AE again but the B6 and B6D are very different. I wouldn't say one is better than the other, it's more which one fits you. I'd suggest having a go with them both if you can.

The B6 is very capable of winning with everything that comes in the box (apart from the servo horn). The build quality is up there with anything else and far higher than the B5M. Finding your own setup is key with both cars.

Driven both. Both awesome, but I prefer the B6.

Less hard on rear tyres and slightly less steering.

If you like a buggy with loads of steering go for YZ2. If you want something more neutral. B6.

B6 is cheaper than YZ2 as well.

B6 awesome in dry. B6D awesome in wet. Get both.

But if you are racing on a budget get B6D and laydown conversion gearbox and gear diff for when it gets dry.

B6 build quality very good. Strong buggy. Best thing its fast out the box using kit setup.

Both B6 and YZ2 exceptionally good buggies. You can't go wrong with either.

I agree with Suzukitudor, if I was only buying one car and running on a variety of surfaces I'd go for the B6D and buy the laydown box for £30. If I was only running high grip I'd go for the B6 (which does still work on low grip with a ball diff).

I raced at the MB Models track on EOS carpet the other Sunday. I broke my servo horn on a warm up lap in qualifying so had to throw my dirt car down which was set up for slippy floor. It was only 6 tenths of a second slower on than my B6 on my fastest lap and got me a 5th in round. I expected it to be terrible but apart from it being really soft it was fine.

You can easily give the car more or less steering depending on what you want.

I went from the XB2 to the B6. Both are excellent cars but I prefer the B6.

yokomo yz2. All the above have copied this car design. There all good.but for strong well made car that race out the box yz2. love mine will never change again.
