Need a new charger. Currently got the basic Orion Duo which I like, but which has a habit of stopping charging before 4.20v, usually around 4.09 etc, seems a few have had this issue? To be honest if I could solve that I'd probably keep it, so any clues appreciated!

Need a duo as only have three lipo and sometimes double run 2WD and 4WD, plus like to charge before going to track and duo is less waiting obviously.

Only run Mod so don't need an icharger or anything with crazy 30 amps etc

Must have built in 240v supply as I carry enough crap around already!

I'd like to be able to charge at 2C, so 9 or 10 amps per channel would be ideal.

Would consider a higher voltage cut off charger in case lipo rules go that direction.

Be nice to monitor IR of cells etc

Suggestions/recommendations appreciated

I have the same issue with the Orion Duo, and it is very annoying. It charges to 4.1 per cell and stops, if i then unplug it and charge it goes all the way unto 4.2. I guess it something to do with a temp sensor on the charger? As when its been used and warm its fine. But when cold it stops short. Absima do a duo charger that i was looking at. But like you say if the issue with the Orion could be resolved it would be fine.

I've been thinking about getting one of these, very similar to the Reedy one

I'm in the same position, thought about the Overlander RC-D100 AC/DC Dual Balance Charger/ Discharger as I'm not fancying spending £150 on a charger!

Any thoughts on the above or a good alternative without breaking the bank...

I bought a isdt sc-608 charger just to try out because they are tiny and I was wanting to save space in my GT12 pit box.

I've now bought another 2 of them for my off road pit box, they are great little chargers, the 608 will charge at 8amps and they make two slightly bigger chargers that can charge at 14 and 20 amps.

Got to say that I was surprised at how good/accurate they have been, updated firmware is available from isdt every so often which is nice too see.

Those are great chargers, and charge very well and extremely small. sadly I've had two and on both occasions, the screen has gone within 3 or 4 chargers. Another guy I k ow had the same problem. Seems like pot luck.

I purchased a Corally Eclips 2100 duo charger a little while back and have found it great.

It seems to do a better job of charging up my Lipo's compared to my previous Sky RC RS16 charger.

Corally also do some neat balance leads which eliminates the need to use a balance board and makes it much tidier for putting in a charge pouch.
