I returned to racing 6 months or so ago.
All new buggies and electronics. Except my tx.

Still using my 15 or so year old trusty 3vc.

Love it but getting nervous about it dying on me.

Ive tried the futaba t4vc?

Dont like it. Too light and dont like the feel in my hands. Even contemplated taping some lead to back of it lol.

Looking for something of similar spec.

Only ever had futaba. Right back to 1989.

Guess its time to try ko or sanwa??

I've tried Futaba and KO but really prefer the Sanwa transmitters. You can always find people selling them on here as well.
The latest ZZ does more than enough!

Most of the new trannys will feel light as they tend to use lipos.

The 3VC was built like a tank too and pretty chunky, so I would imagine the Sanwa would feel most similar.

Personally I prefer the KO units as I am used to the feel, but its all just personal preference, they all work very well.

find a good secondhand 3vcs and keep your 3vc as a spare. all your modules etc. are interchangeable then. had my 3vc about six months after they first came out, still use it at club every week, have 3vcs for when i am away racing. have set the sticks to feel the same etc so cant tell the difference until i look at it!
