what do people think to the looks of what seems to be the 'next gen' shape truggys? - the really low ones like the Losi 8T 2.0 and the proto HB D8T

I can understand the reason why, but you get into the realms of TC shells then, rather than the shell being an asthetic piece that makes yours look different to another brand, they all end up looking like blobs, you might as well chuck a buggy shell on them.

the D8T looks fine
But.......
The losi? WOW - that's the ugliest and worst conceived thing I've ever seen!

I wont say this too loud, but I really like the Losi shell.
I actually like the form follows function mentality and I predict that you will start to see some rad looking Truggy shells spring up.
yes, not too loud chris, or the fashion police will come and make you drive an Allegro....

Clearly isn't anything like a truck so should be banned - what next - F1 or 'insect' shaped bodies running in a so-called 'truck' class? bollocks.

they are all ready a million miles away from anything truck like with their wheels being a billion miles out from the bodywork.

The Losi looks more like a tadpole than a truggy!

It looks almost as though it's got too hot and started melting, so that it's sagging in the middle!

In "your" opinion........... LOL
The X6 grows on you a LOT, I wasnt sure at first but now I really like it, as for the 8T 2.0, I have raced Losi cars without a break since the XX back in 1993 and this IS the ugliest spud ever!!!! It looks like the 8 buggy has hit it so hard up the a*%" that they have merged together.....

To be fair the D8T is looking more and more like the Schlesser Dakar cars which are called buggies ;-)

X6 is obviously a great car but the shell did put me off buying one!
I'd just want to crash it to try and make it look nicer :D
Wasnt the X6 shell designed with some sort of aerodynamics in mind anyway?
sorry, even the X6 squared shell hasn't really dodged the ugly branches as it fell from the ugly tree, it just hit less than the X-5..... that 8T 2.0 must of hit every single branch on the way down, climed back up and had another go.... I can see LOTS of aftermarket shells being sold for it.... I can't even work out if it been put on backwards

put me in the nerd click cuz i kinda like the look of the new losi... looks are really aren't that important honestly when one considers the effect it may have on race peformance. if it starts winning all the truggy competitions, i guarantee 90% of the people talkin' smack about it, will change their tune ;)
