Surely Stoke wouldn't host a meeting that clashes with round 6 of the Nitrux series? Having only just (29th Dec) hosted a successful Round 4 of the series and reaping the rewards..... Seems a bit of a kick in the teeth for Dougie and personally as a member of the club hosting round 6.

When we where asked by doug to hold a round of the nitrux i explained to him that our winter series dates clashed on 2 or 3 occasions, doug was fine with that.
We cancelled one to help and moved it but we could not cancel any of the other's because of other local clubs within a 100 mile radius otherwise we then clashed with everybody's winter dates.
We set our dates back in summer just like we have just set our summer series dates this winter and at the moment nitrotrucks haven't posted there dates.

Fair reply. Just a shame then really. I'm sure you appreciate the time and effort that goes into these meetings and we all like to get a good turn out. Hopefully plenty of racers to go round.

Incedently, If there's anyone who is free to race this weekend, and fancies racing on real turf :p pitting on hard standing with free overnight camping - come join us at Telford Hot Trax for Round 6 of the Nitrux series . For those who want Astro - Stoke's your place.
