Imax b6 charger

Are these chargers any good?
On the look for a charger since getting back into the hobby after being away for a few years and came across these imax b6.
If they aren't any good can someone recommend a charger that will be suitable for charging shorty lipo's and at a decent price.

They are fine, however if you're looking at them because they're cheap then please realise that most of the cheap ones are fake, by fake I mean the Imax B6 is made by SkyRC, the fake ones are made cheaper with potentially cheaper components.

I personally have a fake B6 and have had it for years, mines been perfect and never caused an issue. Some fake ones have been reported to overcharge batteries, which can be dangerous.

Not sure where you were looking but check the reviews, make sure the feedback is good and if theres no any major issues then go for it. I'd just make sure you use a multimeter after the first full charge to check the battery voltage, if its over 8.4v, send it back.

Theres plenty of other charges out there, I can recommend the CoreRC UAC50 and I've heard good things about the SkyRC S60.

I would really recommend the Corally Race 60, it retails for £39.99. It's a great little charger that has all you need when starting out.

Thanks for the replys and advice, i think the core rc is the one I'll go for, the corally looks very similar to the sky rc
