Bonjour!, my work mate has got himself a savage 4.6 thingy, when it sits on the floor the steering does absoutley nothing but when you pick it up off the floor it works like a good'un. Is it because the servo is not powerfull enough:confused:

If so can anyone recomend a good servo?

Thankyyyou

weak servo, or weak servo saver, is there any way to tighten the servo saver up?

be aware that a tighter servo saver could damage the servo if the servo is not strong.

Just had a wee look. the steering links straight onto the servo horn with an old style (non adjustable) servo saver. So like you say its probably just a weak servo  cheers for your help!

Savage + Std Servo = No steering!

We almost always sold a budget hi-power servo shortly after each Savage left our shop!

Cool:thumbsup:, so can you suggest a capable servo that wouldn't require a bank loan?. He is only gonna bash it round the local park and he got the car for a tiny amount of cash so he isn't looking to get anything fancy.......... he nearly choked to death when i told him what i paid for mine.

hitec 625mg there about £25-30 .13sec/60deg and have a good amount of torque (about 7kg) and are metal geared so you can't go wrong  or 645mg bb which have just under 10kg torque, metal geared and .20sec/60deg for £25-30
