Going to get my SMR B4 ready to rock for the last meeting at maritime as this was where it had its debut, will try and drag the designer/builder Scott out of retirement with his car

So made a start, found a rudebits under servo weight and some alloy D413 servo posts, next up is to mount up a shorty lipo with some posts/thumb screws and get some electrics in it

My car is 1 of 2 ever produced, it never made production as the Mid Motor cars took off and no real need for it (apart for it looking awesome!)

It was designed and made my Scott Dickinson, it's 7075 Ali that was machined on a mill at his house, amazing skills really as the mill was all hand operated

Very interesting ! Is the body shell an off the shelf item ? How does it handle in regards to the modern mid motored 2wd cars ?

The body shell was home made by Scott made from a coke bottle and home made vacuum former

It will never compete with the modern cars nowadays but just getting it going for nostalgic reasons
