do you think that yokomo will sell a complete kit with the 1pc chassis and the shock towers like the team uses. from what they say it has better bump handling for rougher offroad tracks. saw the new stuff on ebay, but was just curious since im in the process of buying something new after selling my lazer.

Where you saw it? Is it there a team version available? Links or pics please.
I saw the carbon parts available but not the 1 piece chasis.

Are these parts only on the UK team cars ? in which case Yokomo wouldn't go to the trouble I don't think - CML could do a special I suppose but not sure they would.

Graphite parts, like A-arms, are currently available at RC-Champ and others places.
However, haven't seen the one piece chassis.

by the looks of the carbon weave I'd say it's made my Fibre-Lyte but saying that their website only has the two piece chassis...
http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk/fl/cars/yokomo/bx.html
might be worth giving them an email...

thats it. i was thinking that since i drive on blown out 8th scale tracks that it may be the hot ticket. i live in the usa, but very rarely get to drive on perfect groomed tracks. i tried a uk set-up on my b4 with better results than when i had the local pro set-up the car. i would hate to buy a new kit then find out that i "need" these parts for this style of track.

The dual chassis was used at the worlds - and that was a monster of a blown out track and it came 2nd?
When I raced the BX, I thought the car had too much grip for sure on the high traction tracks I ran it - but one thing I noticed was the awesome rough track handling. I thought it was superb, and floated over the nastiest parts without a worry.
I would give the standard car a good try before you change things, even if just so you know the difference.

standard cars are very good! but we just look for little ways to test and try the car to make it better...i have found the chassis to work on high grip surfaces very well...although have never run back to back.

I have found the 1 piece chassis a major improvement for the rear end stability. The car handles very well all round with this chassis. I found the rear end squirmed with the old chassis on high grip tracks like astro.

Strange as with the X-5 guys are flipping the rear hinge pin blocks to raise the hight of the rear hinge pin for rough track handling and Yokomo is lowering them?:wtf:

The one piece chassis is made by FibreLyte but i'm told they will only reproduce them for one person who in turn sells them on to us guys. I snapped mine at York indoors 2 weeks ago so have just fitted a new one they make the rear end far more stable then the 2 piece.
