2008 MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi was one of the riders with the fewest crashes in his title-winning season, but a fall at home could affect preparations for the defence of his crown.
The Italian received stitches to his left hand and foot before flying out to Sepang for the Official MotoGP Test, a result of his falling onto a glass table when closing the curtains at home. Rossi´s left ring finger and the sole of his foot were cut when the table broke.

He'll be fine, how many people do you know that could break their wrist on friday, and finish top ten on sunday? (Assen 2006 iirc);)

Swantz raced almost his full career banged up, Dr Costa is a genius. Or a butcher, depending on your point of view.

He will be fine they are a hardy bunch these motorbike racers. Leon Haslam in the BSB last year dislocated his shoulder in practise got it put back in and finished qualifying and came second in the second race on Sunday top man.
