Hi guys,
I'm trying to get my latest project, a procat back to as I used to race it as a know kid.
I can't remember exactly what electrics I had but I'm after some help.
I have just bought a Trinigt EPIC RACE SPEC 19T. Can anybody suggest decent nimh batteries (think mine were purple panasonics) and a good esc (Futaba a think I had)
Thanks

Schumacher do some decent "EP" stick pack batteries nimh style
most have now moved to Lipo for convenience nowadays
you may need to strip stickpacks down to solder into saddles for a procat I cant quite remember
maybe save the original car and order a re release cat xls from Schumacher which will accept "shorty" style lipos

I've got a couple of Futaba escs (MC 112s possibly), but I don't think they'll handle that motor.
Let me know if this is what you are after - I can PM some photos.

Thanks guys, I don't suppose anybody knows of a suitable esc for this motor. Bits are proving difficult to find.
Maybe a sidewinder?

The Mc 112 will handle a 19 t no problem, we used to re-wire them with 12 gauge wire and ran 12 and 13 turn motors no problem at all only had 1700 scr's back then though

Will the 112 support reverse?
I'm planning 5000mah 6 cell Nimh saddle packs probably 7.2v. Can anybody see any issues with this.
Any good places who still make up battery packs?
Dan could you send over some pics please. Thanks
Thanks guys.
