Let say 4500 vs 3200mah lipo battery, everything is equal, inc (discharge rate, charging, etc). is 4500mah "faster" than 3200 or are they just same as in punchness ?

depends on the C rating. the rating you have put is the capacity - ie how long it will last. a high C rating would give more punch however im not really sure how high you need before you notice a different. im not aware when using 60C over 100C.

might make more different in stock classes though.

If discharge rate is the same (60/90c for example) the smaller battery will be slower. In theory.

It'll be lighter though, and most of the time, the batteries don't (or are physically incapable of) delivering the discharge rate quoted. And the limitation (at least in buggies) is most likely traction.

So the only way to really tell, is to try it.

A 100c 5a/h battery will in theory deliver 500 Amps down a 12AWG cable. In practice i reckon the cable would either desolder itself or vapourise the sheath and then melt in about 5 seconds..........

I can tell the difference in punch between a 4500 shorty and a 3800 LCG shorty in punch, it's quite noticeable, however the difference in handling is more noticeable.
