Just thought I would share what my Daddy has just given me.

Vintage BRCA Sticker & Badge from 1992. Where does the time go..:woot:

25 yrs old......

They just don't make them like this anymore....:)

Wow! That's a blast from the past.

I started racing in 1981 at Verulam Model Car Club but obviously it wasn't mandatory back then to be a member of the BRCA to race. I think the first year I joined was '88 or '89 but I can't be sure?

Cool to still have that stuff though!

What year did you have to join? I started racing in 1987 and quit in the early 90's but I was never a member.

I believe the BRCA was started in 1971 by Ted Longshaw and Keith Plested.

Myself, Dad and Mum with other members ran Bedworth Off Road Buggy Club from 1990 to 1995/96 and the Club offered BRCA back then.

The Club also ran the old MCCA meetings. We (Bedworth Club) was against,

GEC Coventry
Leicester Jaguars
Broxtowe
Tamworth
Donisthorpe.

A shield was awarded to the winning club. Great days and memories....:thumbsup:
