View Full Version : Honest opinions on the Losi 8ight?
I'm still on the lookout for a 1/8 buggy, I was going to get a cheap RTR but Ive got the offer of a BNIB Losi 8ight roller for the same £200, obviously its a higher spec than the rtrs but Ive been told by somebody that had one that they wear out fast and need a constant supply of parts. Ive read all the reviews but I'd like to hear from other people that have owned them to get their opinions if possible.
Cheers :)
I bought mine second hand 12 months ago for £150 - it's been faultless.
All cars develop a bit of 'slop' as you run them - the Losi is no different to others. It will wear slower than a cheap RTR for sure.
Now the 8ight 2.0 is out the standard 8ight is going cheap - £200 for a brand new one sounds OK to me.

Mines been great too, nothing worn or broke.
Can't you get the 8 for 180 in some places now?

Correct - the last batch of 8IGHT's (Race Roller and Kit spec) have now been outed by Losi, we have our last few at £189.95 now until they are all gone.
