Winter Astro Tyre Choices

Hi All,

Ok, going to be doing my first full race meeting in a few weeks on astro.

Doing 2wd and 4wd.

What tyres do you recommend for wet, cold racing on astro?

Silver darts on rear both.
Silver cut staggers front 2wd
Or ballistic spike green all round 4wd

Depends on the track. I've been at some where Silver Darts are king and others where its terrible and Ballistic Green is the only real tyre of choice. Rear tyres that it.

I've always ran Silver staggers on the front of a 2WD, some prefer the Ballistic green version of the stagger. As for 4WD, if its a silver Dart track then silver darts at the front, if its a Ballistic Green track then Green minispikes at the front.

You really wanna speak to people at the track and see what everyone runs.
