We use Laps Free for 10th off road.
And the iRace infra red transponder system from Kamtec.
Whole system is a about £300 i think this includes some transponders.
Transponders are £15 each.
Can be found on ebay from Kamtec.
Cheers

If it is timing software your after you can't get better value for money
than RC-Timing. Compatible with AMB system.
You can try before you buy by downloading a trial version from:-
http://www.rc-timing.com/ :thumbsup::thumbsup:

We used laps free at Caldi for years James, it does most things you'd need.
Have to admit though that the move to rc timing was worthwhile, but it's not essential

Been a race controller for Many years and RC Timing is the easiest to use, get's updated each year and Dale who writes the software listens to feedback / suggestions.
Most important, it does not crash like BBK used to do all the time.:thumbsup:

A bit off topic I know, but whereabouts is this club? 1/10th off road indoors? Can you give details?

Laps free for us, we had RCM advanced but it was painful to use and expensive (support was good though) Laos free was 20minutes playing around with it and never had an issue plus others at our club have easily picked it up and run meetings for me without hassle
