Came to charge my lipos for the first time in a while and one says warning battery error as soon as I press charge. Any ideas how to get it back up and running?

Sounds like its dropped below the minimum voltage, check you can't change that setting on your charger. there are a couple of things you can do, both are dodgy and Ive never done , so Im not going to advise you at the risk of being shot down on here:lol:

I have in the past charged them on a ahem, cough, nicad charge outside in a fireproof bag just in case for about a minute to a minute and a half at a time. Not advocating doi g this, just saying.

Or may be worth you trying this method if you feel competent enough.

Use the battery check function on your charger to see what voltage all the cells are at.
If they are all slightly to low a kick start as per lee1972 should work, if it's just one, try the same method. But you might have a failed cell. So be careful.

Does you charger have a storage function?

In some cases you can recover a low pack by using nimh charge and once above 3 volts per cell put it back on lipo mode,
do NOT leave them unattended.
ONLY do this if there is no swelling and you are balance charging them after, if they show any signs of swelling or you can not balance charge them, there bin fodde, and back to my question, if it does use it.....and don't leave then stored plugged in

If they have intact dropped below the minimum voltage you can bring them back with the suggest come ts above - however from experience they are not quite the same afterward as lipos don't like having the voltage drop that low.
