My little Corsa for the time being (i'm 17...so i'm kinda restricted on my choices of vehicles!), but i'm gonna transfer them onto all my future cars, unless i can find a better plate.

''Vehicles with illegally displayed number plates may FAIL the MoT test.

The police can also issue fixed penalty fines for illegally displayed number plates. Offenders are liable to a FINE of £1,000 and in some cases the mark may be withdrawn..

penalty points can be issued for repeat offenders.''

Glad you can afford the fine...however being a new driver don't you have to take a re-test or something similar if you get 6 points in first 2 years?

the private plate came with my car, dosent have any relavance to me or the car but does hide its age.

I'd never spend money on one and I've got my one on one of the free plate sale websites if it sells I get £300 :) doubt it will at the moment though
