Hi all,
So my second hand B4 seems to have munched the bearings in the motor; It's a Reedy 3300. I can get the end cap off but I have no idea if the bearings are replaceable (is that a real word?) or how to do it. I have read conflicting reports, some say they are, some say they are not. So if they are replaceable, does anyone know where to get them, and if the are not, what is a reasonable replacement bearing in mind I am on a tight budget as my divorce solicitor keeps sending me lovely letters and bills ;-)

Cheers,
Snooky.

I think its based on lrp and i managed to change my bearings, its one good idea to photograph your motor before you dismantle for every item so you know how it goes back together as there are items that dont really seem to have a specific place or have more holes than you have screws (lrp motor) so just to be safer than sorry.

I had to find a suitable tool and cant remember what but with a hammer got the bearing out of the can and replaced with ceramic.

Maybe worth looking online to see if options like ceramic bearings are available as that shows that you can do this. Hope its helpful.

Update, just found out the motor your on about, looks like its achievable so long as you get the right size bearing to replace.
