Ash
From the National Entry Form - -

Cheques made payable to the BRCA.
Either :- For the full amount of £10 per. day.
Or :- If entering more than four events in either class, a deposit of £20.00 per class will be accepted, and the balance of the entry fees in

the form of a post-dated cheque (dated 1st. May 2009), must also be enclosed. Cheques will not be ‘banked’ until entry closing date.

Closing date for entries is April 1st (not a joke before any says anything).
If you are desparate to know whether your entry has arrived then I suggest you send a mail with an SAE to the Po Box address and ask.

I could be wrong, someone clarify? but my understanding is that priority is given first to the F1's, then F2's who enter ALL events, then anyone else entering ALL events regardless of formula ......... i'm sure someone will put me right ;)

Didn't think it was all events, thought it was over a certain %, it's in the rules though?

The same question is asked every year -
Rule 5.4 in the 2007 Handbook (cant find the 2008), but I am pretty sure it hasnt changed states -

5.4
Entry to the National Series will be given to
drivers in the following order (a-f):-
a) Priority in each class, will be given to drivers who enter a minimum of 66% of events in that class, in the following order : F1, F2, F3, F4, F5.
b) Any remaining places in each class will be given to drivers entering less than 66% of
events in that class in the following order : F1,F2, F3, F4, F5.
c) Eligible entries not gaining places (from (a) &(b) above) will be placed on the National
reserve list. Entries placed on the National reserve list at entry closing date will also be
allocated in the same priority of (a) and (b) above, any entries having similar priority will be allocated in the order of date received. Any entries received after the official closing date will be allocated in the order of date received.
d) Entries sent after the official closing date (as stated on the official entry form), must be sent to the central booking address for arrival no later than four weeks before any event.
e) Entries made within four weeks of an event to be sent direct to the Timekeeper.
f) Entries may be accepted on the day of an event.
The order of priority of accepting entries is in the order of (a) to (f). Entries on the day or late arrivals may have to forego practice.

jimmy

Vicky was on the reserve list a couple of years ago and I think got in for every one - thinking about it, I think I was in the same situation since I was an F4 and only doing a few rounds - usually get a call the week before asking if I want a place.

Actually - what am I saying - Lee Martin was a reserve and he won the title!

1/10th OFF-ROAD ENTRIES AT CLOSING DATE

Given the current financial situation and the cancelation of the National Indoor Finals event this weekend (lack of entries), the committee decided to make this statement as soon as the National Series entry level was known. As was hoped this is a good news story which should allay any drivers fears of a poorly attended BRCA 1/10th Off-Road National Series.

Comparing 2008 “entries at closing date” with 2009 we have almost 3% more entries this year than last. All events are full in both classes with some reserves. It is comforting to confirm that our National Series will again be a major BRCA program and remain amongst the most competitive and prestigious to win.

On behalf of the Section Committee, I thank you for your support.

This post will appear on the BRCA 1/10th Off-Road website shortly.

Charlie Fraser

Hi Neil867
The information you need is contained in the National Confirmation notes you received with you Entry Confirmation. On page3 I believe, para entitled Cancellations and Alterations contains all the process and contact details you need.
Decisions on refunds you will see are a matter for the entry secretary.
