Hi guys,

New to RC racing but after seeing gt12 and pan car champs at Milton Keynes I just knew it was something I wanted to do.

After asking around it seemed that GT12 is the way to go and certainly appeals most to me. So, mk and Bedford are my nearest clubs, both of whom race GT12.

Essentially i just want some advice on what kit to buy. I have already been to the clubs and asked the same question but I came away bewildered with the volume of advice and opinions and just couldn't put it altogether to make a wish-list.

So, can anyone help with some suggestions? I need everything needed to race.

It depends at what level you want to do it and how much your budget is you could pick up a supastox complete for under £100 and could always upgrade as you go

Simon if you are on facebook, go to the uk's biggest solely gt12 page, gt12 circuit UK, its an open group so you have no pressure to join to see all the discussions and topics, and our admin team are all varied drivers of different brands, lots of the guys from the clubs you mentioned on there and also often some very good buys to be had of good equipment. the page and sales are just gt12 related.

the biggest advice i can give is set a budget, dont get hyped on the amount of gear some folk have and look whats the most popular car manufacture at said clubs that way you will get the most help and support.
