Hobbyking had the Rx-482 on at £44 from hong kong. I ordered one last week.

No. never have.
I've heard of people that have with HK orders, but they picked the wrong shipping options.

The cheapest delivery option, like always. It always avoids duty and turns up when it turns up.
If you pay for express delivery options/DHL/EMS, etc, you tend to get stung, as they like to collect some duty and add on their processing fee, which is normally more than the duty.

Dont know if it helps, but they look to have the 412 in for £45 plus delivery (HK)

I've just bought a 481 from hobbyking using FedEx express shipping as i needed it quick and didn't get collared for import taxes. Ordered last Wednesday and arrived today.

Great. I've never had any duty issues, but those that I know who have, have used express shipping. Perhaps its relaxed a bit now?
£44 for an RX482 is a bargain.
