Hi All,

Wonder if anyone can help me I have the following Tranny and Receiver above but am having a slight issue with it cutting out.

Starts up ok and goes off the line well but then seems to slow down slightly and then stops - is this something to do with the telemetry or is there a common cause such as a bad sensor wire - getting on my nerves and just want to check this out before the season starts

Thanks for any help or advice

Jamie

Telemetry shouldn't cause the car to cut out. Maybe try a different lipo in the car?

This
Sounds more like a car based issue rather than tx rx problem
If you have any old radio gear try that after any car based checks

Hi All,

Thanks for the comments - slight update starts off fine then after about 20 seconds the car starts to go slower and then cuts out complete.

Tried new speedo and other car and same problem so really struggling - tried rebinding, tried resetting speedo and still no joy - it is as if the voltage drops to the speedo or it simply looses it signal cos then all of a sudden it speeds up again

Really need some help asap

Regards

Jamie

Right it seems to be ok when the car is reving up on the table but when I go outside starts off ok but then dies and stops after a couple of runs up and down the street

Really struggling now - what else

Tried now sensor wire
Changed speedo
Seems to be doing same thing with both cars so must be tranny or something

If it is giving up under load but not with the wheels in the air, two things come to my mind. It sounds like perhaps the low voltage cut off on the Speedo is too high, or perhaps your battery is failing under load and that is fooling the Speedo into cutting out. If you have another battery I would make sure it is fully charged and try that. When the throttle fails, does the steering still work?

Hi

Thanks to all yes seems the cutoff on the speedo was wrong - seems ok now and plenty quick enough - tried all batteries and all ok

Thanks again to everyone for their help

Regards
