Associated V2 Shock Springs vs. V1

Posted in this section as I know a lot of people would benefit from this, as they use Associated springs on their cars...

I was wondering whether anyone had had any experience in running the new V2 springs, and how they compare to the original V1s? The colours and rates have changed slightly, but there is still a good range to choose from. How would the bigger coils of the newer springs compare to the tighter coils of the older springs with similar rates?

Interesting! What I wrote earlier doesn't stack up though, so I'll read into it a bit further... :)

I really hope they keep the 'V1' springs out there too though: I actually have a use for the hardest rear and softest front springs in a variety of project cars :lol: And they can't beat how buttery smooth the V1s feel surely?

Here are my findings.

V2 all around better on high grip, especially tracks with big jumps.
V1 find traction and better over ripple surfaces so probably still the go to for natural surfaces like grass.
