Hi everyone,

I am just checking that the following spec’d lipo’s will be ok for 1:10th buggy racing in 2wd and 4wd

3600mah 2s LP 110c ????

Wanted to make sure that these would last the duration of a 5min race (it’s been a long time since I last raced 1700 scr and sce’s) before I go out and buy some.

And do you have to make any changes to the cars because of the low profile dimensions of the battery (b6.1 and B64 are my buggies)

Cheers

They should be fine

They will last fine, absolutely no worries.

May need some foam packing to stop them jumping around though :)

you could try some shorty pack for it, may 4000mah to 5000mah 2s, http://www.gensace.de/gens-ace-4600mah-7-4v-60c-2s2p-hardcase-lipo-battery-29.html

I'd say 3600mah should be fine for 2wd off road.

Depending on where you want to race it's worth considering if the LIPO's are BRCA legal, so check the electric board section on the BRCA website or ask the model shop you are considering buying them from.

Personally I use the Corally Voltax HV lipo's and have found them to be very consistent during a days racing.

What about 4wd, assuming 3600mah will also be ok ?

I was looking at reedy zappers

3600 might be a bit on the small side for 4wd.
Might get a bit soft when you get to the end of your race.
