People will tell you what they run is the best... From my experience, both great cars, both very capable! The Schumacher seems to be more ‘engineered’ and a few people I know who have run them have switched because there’s just abit too much going on. I personally run a B6.1, build it kit and tweak to suit... the guys I know who have switched from the Schumacher have gone to a B6.1 no complaints so far!

Pick which ever car you like the look of the most, but the Schumacher may need more tinkering!

Have you thought about the Kyosho!?!? They are bringing a new RB7 out soon which looks good. Depending on budget you would probably pick a decent RB6.6 up reasonable 2nd hand if you didn’t want to shell out on a new one. Where abouts do you race!?

I went from Schumacher to Yokomo & I'll never look back.

Out of the box I was instantly quicker with my YZ-2 DTM, and more importantly, more consistent. I went from a KF2 to the KC/KD and none of those cars felt as 'right' as the YZ. I can make adjustments to setup & notice the difference.

Tom is right- they are over engineered.

I don't think you can go far wrong with a B6 or an RB6 either.

I had both a kc and 6.1 and did a day of back to backing them. There was nothing between them. Both great cars but I ended up keeping the kc. Parts are a bit cheaper on the kc (9.99 for a shock tower compared to 20 on the 6.1) and I like the way the front end comes off with a few screws. What ever one you go for you won't be disappointed with it.

Keep the Type R. If it's properly setup they are hard to beat.

Well, I'm old and well past my best, but my Type R is unbeaten (so far) at our local Championships. If I can beat all these younger lads with it then a better driver could be nigh on unstoppable!

Good logic.
