Points calculation

Does anyone know how the points are worked out at this years EOS? Was just following a local racer and he did a qualifier which was faster but earned him 3 less points.

Results for qualifying were based on round by round 4 rounds with best 2 to count.


With round by round it is where you finish in the round overall rather then the number of laps compared to another round. Think of it like a 4 round championship with best 2 to count.


For the driver you are asking about, his 4th run may have been his fastest compared to his other 3 rounds. But in round 4 everyone else went faster so he was further down the placings for that round.
