Carbon Frame Protector

I'm a big mountain biker and use a carbon look frame protector wrap to protect parts of my frame from cable rub etc, so thought I would have a play with it. What do you think ?

I think I'd like to try in on a B6 shell that didn't go too well.
Please could you tell me where you got it from and how much it was?

Hi Steve

See the link below, you must get good quality 3M stuff. Because its Carbon Fibre effect you can get away with joints, be patient and use a light head, I used a hobby gas soldering iron with a heat attachment to get the wrap to do what i wanted, i estimate 3 hours work went in to it !

200 x 1520 is the size I buy but I use it for other uses.

Oh, do they also do other colours in the carbon effect. I've looked but couldn't find any

Yes easily more than one shell's worth, you may get away with 100mm width but it depends on the larger width area you have to cover. not sure about the different colours.
