I visited Mansfield RC Racing last night to take a look and speak to a few people about racing there.
Tight track that will be great for me to dial back in my driver skills ie learning to turn left and right at the correct time!

If you spoke to me thank you for your advice, at this stage absolutely any advice is greatly appreciated.
I marshalled for the first time in 30 years and thoroughly enjoyed it, also a special thank you to the racer who let me very careful negotiate the track with his car, brave man sir, I take my hat of to you.
Nice relaxed club, some great drivers but no one seems to take it too serious, perfect for a 'back in the game' racer like me.

West Bridgeford tomorrow night then, Shirebrook on Sunday, all to spectate and chat.

See you soon guys.

Went to watch the first round last night, thanks again for the chats and advice
My car is taking shape, listening and learning and pulling race kit together, initial outlay even when using majority of second hand kit is significant although the battery , ESC and motor technology I believe makes racing relative inexpensive compared to the 80's & 90's.
