Hi,

I'm in need of getting some Springs for the ZX5 as I'm going to put my Associated shocks back on my b4 and was wondering what the common Kyosho springs are to get?

I don't want to get springs that I'm never going to use as that would be a waste of money.

Hopwfully that makes sense! :)

Cheers

Mike

I have the long Blue & Yellow, Yellow & orange-yellow fronts as well as kit silvers.

On a bumpy track I am using yellows all round, used the blue with silver fronts and may try with the yellow front.
But not used the orange-yellow yet.

Hope that helps

outdoors on grass and astro i mainly use kit silvers. occasionally go for yellow/green at the rear. there is a really good set up from niggs who was a team driver last year that uses kit springs.

haven't really ran indoors yet.

Do the Losi springs fit the Kyosho shocks?

ive found dark green springs all round work best, with 40wt oil all round, or 60 in front if track is grippy. with two hole pistons allround. i found anything softer car would bottom out quite easily, and roll all other the place. in or outdoor.:eh?:

Has anyone tried cutting springs yet? Like the losi boys do for 4wd.

haven't tried this yet as the caar goes pretty well with normal springs. what would the benefit be from this?

take off 1.5 coils and it will make the spring stiffer.

I also run 40wt oil allround, haven't had any problems with car bottoming out and we have a big big drop on our track.
Car did have tendency to roll with kit silvers, but haven't had problem with the softer springs! Though I have shortened the rear links from kit settings.

Re above - went back to kit silver as with a drier track the car started rolling a bit. Have ordered Light Greens to go all round to try.
